Pathway Affordable Housing celebrate three years of providing stable homes for those in need.
Reflecting on what PAH has achieved in that time, wellbeing navigator Emma, who works closely with our tenants, says there's much to be proud of. "Tenancies are being sustained and it's worth celebrating. PAH has provided the opportunity for our tenants to have a home.
75% of our tenants have sustained their tenancy for three years and for some of those tenants this is the longest time they have resided in one location.''
This not only brings with it stability, but also a sense of belonging in their community. It's a natural fit with Pathway's long-held commitment to help people make a fresh start to strengthen our community and promote social inclusion.
With that said, we like to get our tenants involved as much as possible in the form of regular catch-ups and feedback sessions with Emma, so they can be sure their voices are heard when there's an issue that needs resolving, or if they're struggling with the demands of everyday life.
Seeing our tenants thrive in homes they are deeply proud to call their own is a huge motivator for PAH in its role as a registered social housing provider and its aim of getting as many people in Christchurch off the social housing register and into quality housing.
